An overview of domestic EV charging
Charging your car from home with a wall mounted charge point is possible for most homes with off road parking. The process does involve some paperwork and home visits.
We carry out an initial assessment of the house, consumer unit and desired location of the charge point. In some cases ground work may be required.

We will replace the consumer Unit (Fuse Board) if required, up to current regulations – at additional cost
We liaise with the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) for your area to ensure their installation is adequate to supply the charge point, we do this on your behalf, and normally any changes needed will be free of charge
Next;
Once approval is received from DNO, we can then install the charger for you
Your charge point is then tested, certified, and commissioned, we also will give guidance on its use and maintenance, finally the installation is registered with OZEV and is ready to go. HAPPY CHARGING
